“Isabella Blow : Fashion Galore!

At Somerset House,

This fabulous exhibition showcases over a hundred pieces from the private collection of the fashion editor and stylist Isabella Blow, bought by friend and socialite Daphne Guiness after Blow’s death in 2007. A true original in both her personal style and her work, Blow had an irreverent approach to dressing which I really admire. She would think nothing of wearing these avant garde creations in every day life and you can actually see the marks and wear and tear on the pieces. It is this creativity and eccentricity that the exhibition celebrates as well as her talent for discovering and nurturing unique designers such as Alexander McQueen, Philip Treacy and Hussein Chalayan as well as models Sophie Dahl and Stella Tennant. A must see for any fashion fan.”
