We asked two of our super stylists to write about their thoughts and experiences this show season:

London – written by Caroline Sullivan

Last weekend London was awash with Fashion Editors, Buyers, and Bloggers stylishly dashing from show to show to be first to see the latest trends for next season. This weekend I caught up on all the shows (from the comfort of my couch) that I didnā€™t get to see over fashion week, and needless to say my spring summer wish list is coming along nicely!

Whilst LFW gives me a chance to drool over a Matthew Williamson dress or a lace Burberry midi, it is also great to see some previews of the high street stores collections that I will be able to get my hands on next spring.Ā  Itā€™s no secret that London does high street best, and with Topshopsā€™ models effortlessly strutting down a grass covered catwalk in their clogs, and Whistles showcasing theirĀ collection on the 32nd floor of the Heron Tower with a FROW to rival all others, London proves that our high street stores are as utterly fabulous as their designer counterparts.

Whilst Topshop opted for a palette of bold greens, navyā€™s and purples, Whistles collection was loaded with sugary ice cream pastels, super shiny metallicā€™ s and safari prints showing a move on from the camouflage print they have championed this season. And Whistles werenā€™t alone with their pastel love,Ā  Eudon Choi, Burberry and Emilia Wickstead also showed us that whatever pastels you invest in for AW13, (Zaraā€™s pastel pink overcoat in my case) you will be wearing right through to spring.Ā

We also saw that this seasons mega trend of checks and tartan will be getting a summer update, with contrasting gingham skirts and shirts at House of Holland and oversized gingham sweater dresses at SISTER by SIBLING.

Unisex brit-born fashion brand 1205, showing for the first time at LFW became my new label of lust. The androgynous collection showcased a range of beautifully simple monochrome shirts, suits dresses tailored with precision using the finest of materials.Ā  Needless to say, if like me youā€™re a fan of Stella McCartney or Cos, 1205 will be your new label of lust.

Nowā€¦where did I put my credit card?
